Job Summary
The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying evaluating developing and managing supplier relationships to support organizational objectives. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials products and services while maintaining quality delivery and performance standards. The position works closely with Operations Engineering Production Quality and SupplyChain teams to support business goals and drive continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum 35 years of sourcing procurement purchasing or supply chain experience.
- Manufacturing environment experience required.
- Experience negotiating contracts and supplier agreements.
- CPSM CPSD or other supply chain certifications preferred.
Specific Skills
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities.
- Ability to evaluate supplier capabilities performance and sourcing opportunities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to walk production facilities and supplier locations.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Compliance with all PPE and safety requirements.
