Job Summary

This is an in-person role. The candidate will need to live near or reside in Bismarck ND.

General Description: This position is incredibly important to the overall ballpark atmosphere from the moment that gates open until the last fan has left the ballpark. This position functions less as someone who is setting/running levels (although that is needed as well) and more as the ballpark DJ for the evening playing songs and sound effects that are perfect for every moment.

Roles/Responsibilities:
Pregame
Play music directly from the Larks spotify account adjusting sound levels accordingly when a PA read or video board advertisement occurs.
Set the teams walkup song order in the correct page in Sound Director
During the pregame show follow the sound script in Sound Director.
In Game
Select the appropriate songs and sound effects for each moment. This could be something from the in game script during an inning break a sound effect to pump up the crowd when the Larks are up to bat a walkup song or an epic song to fire everyone in the ballpark up in the bottom of the 9th.
Post Game
Set up a playlist of good-bye songs as fans leave the ballpark.
If the game lands on a fireworks night set up a playlist of appropriate songs for a fireworks show.

Qualifications:
The Sound/Music Operator should have a basic understanding of the flow of a baseball game. As things get closer to the end of the game or if there are big baseball moments we should be hyping up the crowd not just playing a walkup song.
The operator should have a basic understanding of the concept of running sound levels creating a well-balanced mix of music and the PA announcer.
The operator should be able to think on their feet and be able to make quick decisions as the baseball elements of the show are often unpredictable.
The operator should be able to follow commands from the Show Director quickly.
Sound Director experience is preferable but not required.
