Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Sonographer you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood organs tissues and bodily masses including unborn fetuses providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care.

Every day you will directly interact with patients explaining procedures answering questions and preparing them for scans. You will meticulously operate sonographic equipment adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear diagnostic images. You will monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort select and examine images for pathologies and present preliminary findings to Physicians.

To be successful in this role you will possess excellent patient service and communication skills sharp eyesight and meticulous attention to detail. You will demonstrate strong technical proficiency sound judgment and advanced decision-making skills to effectively capture and interpret sonographic data ensuring optimal diagnostic support.

  • Performs ultrasound exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director
  • Prepares equipment ensuring that it is operational safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards
  • Problemsolves equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative or CES regarding equipment problems
  • Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed before/during/ after each procedure and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards
  • Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained
  • Completes all clinical supply inventories ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure
Job Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo or
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo or
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo or
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen or
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Breast or
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo or
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Neurosonology or
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OB/GYN or
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Pediatric Sono or
  • Registered Cardiac Electr or
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI or
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography or
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT or
