Sonographer II Per Diem

Johns Hopkins All Childrens doctors nurses therapists and staff work in the Outpatient Care Center bringing some of our most frequently needed pediatric medical services to a convenient location serving numerous surrounding communities.

Position Summary: The Sonographer II demonstrates an expanding knowledge base in the management of diagnostic testing for specific types of patient populations. The Sonographer II applies more in-depth clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills. Demonstrates an increased capacity to problem-solve through application of testing modalities. Demonstrates and completes unit-specific Competent Clinical Pathway.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with minimum of one-year experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
• Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI
• Current BLS certification AHA
• Ability to read write speak and understand English
• This role is specific to OBGYN patients - the candidates must have experience in this field.

Shift: Casual / On-Call; Every Thursday and Friday day shift- 8am-5pm. No weekends no holidays no on-call.

Salary Range: Minimum 51.00/hour - Maximum 51.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
