Summary
Client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PPDS Solution Architect Director to lead the implementation support and optimization of production planning and detailed scheduling solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP PPDS solutions ensuring seamless integration across the SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement configure and support SAP S/4HANA PPDS solutions across client environments
• Design and support Production Planning and Quality Management processes within S/4HANA
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and document manufacturing requirements
• Translate business needs into scalable functional and technical SAP PPDS solutions
• Develop and maintain functional/technical specifications process flows and solution architecture
• Configure PPDS capabilities including production planning capacity planning and detailed scheduling
• Ensure integration with SAP modules such as MM SD and WM
• Support SIT UAT and go-live activities
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform root-cause analysis for performance optimization
• Deliver user training documentation and post-go-live support
• Work independently and within global cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in SAP PP / QM
• 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PPDS
• Proven experience in PPDS implementation and support projects
• Experience migrating legacy planning tools to SAP S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of manufacturing production planning and scheduling processes
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams

• Experience in discrete or batch manufacturing industries

• Knowledge of MES or shop floor system integration
• SAP S/4HANA PP or PPDS certification
• Basic knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance and Warehouse Management
