Build the Financial Backbone of the Energy Transition
The company is hiring aSenior Accounting Managerto help lead financial reporting for a rapidly growing portfolio ofutilityscale solar and energy storage projects across the United States.
This role sits at the center of renewable energy project finance supporting the accounting and reporting behind complex infrastructure investments. Youll work closely with teams acrossconstruction asset management structured finance and global financeto ensure accurate reporting strong financial controls and compliance across a multibilliondollar renewable energy portfolio.
This position is ideal for accounting professionals coming frompublic accounting energy companies utilities infrastructure funds or renewable developerswho want to apply their expertise to one of the fastestgrowing sectors in global energy.

What Youll Do:

Financial Reporting & Accounting
  • Leadmonthend close and financial reportingfor a portfolio of U.S. renewable energy projects
  • Ensure compliance withUS GAAP IFRS and internal accounting policies
  • Prepare and reviewbalance sheet reconciliations variance analysis and financial reporting packages
  • Partner with the global finance team ontechnical accounting matters and complex transactions
  • Support quarterly and annualgroup reporting to global stakeholders

Audit Controls & Compliance
  • Support theannual external audit processunder US GAAP and IFRS
  • Partner with internal teams and external auditors during audit cycles
  • Strengthenfinancial controls and reporting processesacross the accounting function
  • SupportSOX compliance and internal control documentation

Business Partnering
  • Collaborate withconstruction asset management and structured finance teams
  • Support financial oversight of projects duringconstruction and operational phases
  • Contribute toboard reporting and internal financial analysis
  • Provide insights that improve financial accuracy and support investment decisions

What the Company is Looking For:
  • CPA required
  • 8 years of accounting experience ideally in public accounting energy infrastructure or renewable energy
  • Strong knowledge ofUS GAAP with IFRS experience preferred
  • Experience supporting complex accounting areas such as:
    • Lease accounting (ASC 842 / IFRS 16)
    • Revenue recognition
    • Derivative accounting
  • Exposure toproject finance infrastructure investments or tax equity structuresis highly valued
  • Experience working withSAP or similar ERP systems
  • Experience mentoring or managingsmall teams
