Software & Tools Engineering Project Manager

Hardware Engineering is seeking a seasoned Engineering Project Manager to oversee internal software applications development. Were looking for an individual with a demonstrated command of core project management practices and a proven ability to operate in complex fast-paced environments. This role will be critical in driving strategic planning improving cross-functional alignment and driving end-to-end project delivery.

The position requires an experienced engineering project manager with clear ownership of end-to-end project delivery including tracking progress against milestones managing risks and mitigation plans and driving structured communication across stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings experience in software development excels at building and maintaining clear roadmaps and can break down complex or ambiguous work into actionable plansensuring predictable high-quality delivery.n nThis role bridges business stakeholders and our software engineering team acting as the primary liaison between groups while guiding product vision and prioritizing features for development. Youll work closely with Engineering Design QA and partner teams to ensure timely delivery of initiatives while navigating complex stakeholder dynamics. A key part of the role is proactively identifying timeline risks and presenting well-formed mitigation paths. You must be comfortable going deep into project details aligning diverse perspectives and confidently communicating status and trade-offs to executive leadership.

Lead large-scale programs through the full lifecycle from strategy and planning through deployment and post-launch support with strong organizational skills and a track record of process grasp complex technical concepts resolve conflicts across engineering design and other functions and maintain momentum through ambiguity and competing alignment by managing goals dependencies risks and resources while owning documentation reporting and stakeholder communication to ensure informed trusted relationships across stakeholders and partners by leading through influence rather than authority delivering candid feedback and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement by advancing PMO processes supporting change management and driving better execution quality and strategic alignment.n

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.n5 years of program or project management experience in a complex cross-functional ability to manage web-based application projects through the full lifecycle with strong planning capabilities organizational skills cross-functional collaboration and process experience implementing projects using Agile methodologies across distributed to quickly grasp complex ideas and resolve conflicts across cross-functional teams (engineers designers etc.) fostering collaboration and maintaining project momentumnStrong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors ensuring clear communication alignment on goals and regular progress updates to drive successful collaboration.n

Masters Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.n7-10 years of program or project management experience in a complex cross-functional working in or alongside software or hardware engineering PMI-ACP CSM or equivalent with software development metrics defining collecting and analyzing data to drive informed decisions and improve delivery with tools commonly used in engineering environments (e.g. Wrike Jira Confluence or similar).nExperience working within or alongside a PMO structure with exposure to program governance reporting cadences and cross-functional planning.n
