Position: Software Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70$150/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write engineering problems from systems you have shipped including requirements constraints and failure modes.
• Grade model-written code and design for edge case handling complexity justification and test effectiveness.
• Flag where a models code passes review but would fail in production due to concurrency scale error handling or operational costs.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality and downstream performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Professional experience building and shipping software.
• Clear written communication skills.
• Comfort with ambiguous tasks and willingness to flag unclear instructions.

Preferred

• Experience with React TypeScript Java Go Android iOS.
• Skills in DevOps platform engineering systems and performance engineering QA automation and security engineering.
