Candidates may come from a variety of development backgrounds including Java C# Python or JavaScript/TypeScript and will contribute to the design development testing and deployment of secure scalable software solutions supporting highly sensitive government programs.

Responsibilities
- Design develop test and maintain secure software applications and services.
- Develop solutions using Java C# Python JavaScript/TypeScript or related technologies.
- Build and support microservices APIs backend services and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Participate in sprint planning daily standups backlog grooming and retrospectives.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines infrastructure automation and deployment strategies.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and services.
- Perform code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Support mission-critical initiatives while complying with security and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance required at the time of hire.
- Ability to obtain and maintain additional government clearances including SCI and/or Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility.
- Professional software development experience using one or more of the following:
- Java
- C#
- Python
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience developing modern applications using software engineering best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as:
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience building and supporting:
- Microservices
- RESTful APIs
- Distributed systems
- Data-centric applications
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as:
- Jenkins
- GitLab CI/CD
- Azure DevOps
- Experience with containerization technologies including:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Experience using Git and version control best practices.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience using Jira Confluence or similar Agile collaboration tools.
- Strong problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) Intelligence Community (IC) or other federal government programs.
- Experience with secure software development practices.
- Knowledge of system architecture cloud-native design and scalable application development.
- Experience leading technical efforts or mentoring junior engineers.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation etc.).
- Experience working within highly regulated or classified environments.
