Join Apple and help us leave the world better than we found it. nnThe Companion Device Services team is looking for an energetic and creative software engineer to build solutions that unlock the power of the watch by building infrastructure to support its unique relationship to other devices.n

As part of the Companion Device Services team you will be foundational to the Apple Watch platform working closely with Apple Watch software teams across the organization by building system frameworks. You will collaborate with the networking team and other cross functional partners to develop and improve the pairing and communication technologies working with design and QA partners to help define the user facing goals of those technologies. You will play a core role in innovating and improving setup and pairing giving new Apple Watch users their first experience on the platform. n

BS CE/CS or equivalent experience requirednnProficient in Objective-C and SwiftnnExperience building high traffic system frameworks and related infrastructurennYou have experience optimizing applications and profiling throughout the stacknnSystems knowledge hands-on experience with inter-process communicationnnYou are upbeat adaptable and results oriented with a positive attitudennFantastic attention to detail

Experience improving and expanding on existing complex projects and systemsnnYou have defined and driven large scale projects across different levels of the stack
