Software Engineer Sr (Java)

As a Software Engineer Sr within PNCs C&IBs organization you will be based in Pittsburgh PA Denver CO or Dallas TX.

Looking for Java Full Stack to build and scale modern high-performing applications. Youll work across the stack developing responsive React UIs building robust Java APIs and driving automated deployments through CI/CD pipelines.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning features end-to-end working in fast-paced environments and solving real-world problems at scale.

What Youll Do
Build and enhance full-stack web applications (React Java/Spring Boot)
Design and implement REST APIs and microservices
Integrate with external systems and APIs
Develop responsive UI components using React
Automate builds testing and deployment using CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the stack
Collaborate with product UX QA and DevOps teams

Core Skills
Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot) and backend services
Hands-on experience with ReactJS JavaScript/TypeScript
Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling

DevOps & CI/CD
Experience with:
oGit (version control)
oJenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI
oMaven / Gradle
Experience with:
oDocker (containerization)
oKubernetes (deployment & scaling)

Base Salary: $86250.00 $158125.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location market data and on individual skills experience and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company business and/or individual performance.

Generally this opening is expected to be posted for two business days from 06/30/2026 although it may be longer with business discretion.
