Software Engineer (PythonAI) Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer (Python/AI) for a Hybrid position (3 days onsite required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington NJ. This is an 12 month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a talented mid-level software engineer with strong expertise in Python data analytics and AI application development to join our technology team. This role will focus on designing and implementing Agentic AI solutions that combine large language models enterprise data APIs workflow orchestration and automated decision-making capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building production-grade Python applications integrating AI models with enterprise systems and developing reliable AI agents with appropriate security observability and governance controls.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Python data analytics and AI application development
• Hands-on experience building production-grade Python applications
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data
• Experience integrating AI models with enterprise systems
• Experience developing reliable AI agents with security observability and governance controls
• Experience with Microsoft Azure

Desired skills:

• Hands-on experience developing AI agents copilots chatbots or intelligent workflow solutions
• Experience with agentic AI or LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph LangChain Semantic Kernel AutoGen or LlamaIndex
• Experience implementing RAG semantic search embeddings chunking strategies reranking and vector databases
• Familiarity with vector-search technologies such as Azure AI Search OpenSearch Elasticsearch Pinecone FAISS or pgvector
• Experience working with frontier models or managed AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI or AWS Bedrock
• Understanding of different agent patterns including Router agents ReAct-style agents Supervisor and worker agents and Planner and executor patterns
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration and human-in-the-loop workflows

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
