SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Braums is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team at the corporate office in Oklahoma City! The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions and technical projects to success. Compensation based on experience.

Design develop and implement software solutions using various programming languages and technologies such as IBMi (RPG/RPGLE) Python GoLang git bash CICD Pipelines WebFrameworks . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features. Lead technical discussions and provide innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. Implement best practices in software development methodologies through source control and automated project pipelines. Ensure the security and scalability of software applications by incorporating Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) principles. Maintain and enhance existing software systems while optimizing performance. Demonstrate strong ownership of high availability systems and support operational needs (on-call rotation).

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field. At least 5 years experience. Proven experience in software development with expertise in IT infrastructure and system architecture.
