Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5) to join our team for a significant digital transformation program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing cutting-edge technology applications contributing to the success of a large corporate website project.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a large corporate website as part of a multi-developer team ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Act as the primary in-house expert on AEM providing architectural solutions and effectively communicating AEM considerations during the requirements development phase.
• Design and develop editable templates workflows content fragments experience fragments AEM Forms and custom components.
• Prepare detailed technical designs for various templates and services layers ensuring they are extensible and scalable.
• Develop Touch UI components and integrate with marketing analytics LDAP and personalization tools.
• Resolve technical issues and explore alternative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and project alignment.
• Participate in Agile SCRUM processes fostering teamwork and inter-group coordination.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5) including editable templates workflows content fragments and AEM Forms.
• Strong knowledge of OSGI Framework Apache Sling and JSR development.
• Experience in developing extensible and scalable Java-based applications on the AEM platform.
• Ability to overlay out-of-the-box (OOTB) components and develop Touch UI components.
• Experience in marketing analytics LDAP integration and personalization.
• Excellent oral communication skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other CMS tools is a plus; please specify the tools you have worked with.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices.
• Passion for learning new technologies and providing innovative ideas.
