Join an Agile development team focused on modernizing a large enterprise insurance regulatory platform. This role is ideal for a full-stack engineer who enjoys transforming legacy applications into modern scalable solutions while using AI-assisted development tools to improve quality and delivery speed.
What Youll Do
Modernize legacy Java EE applications by migrating JSF/PrimeFaces interfaces to Angular single-page applications.
Develop and enhance Spring Boot microservices that replace legacy Java applications.
Build and maintain secure scalable REST APIs and backend services.
Improve application performance reliability and security by resolving code quality and vulnerability findings.
Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate analysis coding testing documentation and modernization efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver new features and reduce technical debt.
What Were Looking For
5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong experience with Java Java EE and Spring Boot.
Experience building applications with Angular and TypeScript.
Solid SQL skills preferably with Oracle.
Experience developing RESTful APIs.
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools.
Bonus Points
Experience modernizing legacy Java EE applications.
Knowledge of application security vulnerability remediation and code quality tools.
Experience with AWS Kafka Okta or Snowflake.
Familiarity with Angular Material.
Previous experience with JSF and PrimeFaces.
Background in insurance financial services or other regulated industries.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
