Software Engineer Journal Team

Bring passion and dedication to your job and theres no telling what you could you interested in building the next generation of iOS apps The Journal team at Apple is looking for talented iOS App developers to join a small team of highly skilled engineers to build world class applications across all of Apples platforms. As a member of our team youll be responsible for building features for upcoming releases prototyping new feature concepts and making sure our users always have a great experience.

This position requires deep knowledge of Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI. You must be comfortable with rapidly evolving designs and requirements and have excellent interpersonal skills. Throughout the process you will work collaboratively with our world-class team of engineers partner with designers and coordinate with other teams at Apple including the iOS and macOS teams.

Implementing new features nPrototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition nCommunicating ideas to the Apple design team and other cross functional teams nParticipating in architecture and code reviews nExploring new frameworks and technologies and how they can aid in implementing new features nBuilding internal tools as needed to help ship high quality software

2 years of experience with Swift and/or Objective-C design patternsn2 years of experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUInTalent for cleanly architecting UI featuresnExperience with AI assisted development toolsnExcellent oral and written communication skillsnBS in Computer Science or equivalent
