We are an in-office company and our expectation is that full-time employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. This in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions

About the role

• Design build and maintain core libraries frameworks and developer tools used across the engineering organization.

• Own and improve developer infrastructure used for building and testing Android Automotive OS (AAOS).

• Operate and maintain the Gerrit code review system supporting AAOS and Android platform development ensuring reliability scalability and security.

• Develop and maintain automated code analysis static analysis and quality-gating tooling for large-scale AAOS codebases.

• Collaborate with Android platform and application engineering teams to improve code quality build performance and release workflows.

• Establish best practices standards and well-defined development paths for tooling and infrastructure across teams.

• Act as the primary technical owner for all developer tooling related to Android Automotive OS.

Were looking for someone who has:

• Must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or foreign equivalent

• At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer with at least one years experience working at an automotive technology company

• At least 12 months of experience using C Python ROS Blaze Critique and gRPC/Protocol buffers.
