Software Engineer II

Summary / Objective

As a Software Engineer II you will independently drive and build production features for Identity Digitals Top Level Domain (TLD) Registry Platform. Demonstrating strong self-motivation and initiative you will collaborate with experienced engineers to design build and test scalable reliable software systems by converting complex technical challenges into robust production-ready solutions.

This role reports to the Sr. Director Software Engineering.

What Youll Do

• Design and implement software solutions for business features using C# .NET Python and microservices architecture
• Take proactive ownership and full accountability for your assigned design and delivery tasks
• Leverage modern AI coding tools (Claude Code Cursor) to accelerate high-quality software delivery
• Collaborate with a high-performing team committed to engineering excellence and continuous improvement
• Implement AWS-based solutions leveraging services such as Aurora PostgreSQL EKS Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB Glue Step Functions Flink and Paimon
• Build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code for reliable production deployments
• Ensure system reliability through thorough unit and integration testing strategies

Who You Are / What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field (Masters degree preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong CS fundamentals and object-oriented programming (OOP) experience (such as C# .NET Java or similar languages)
• Solid proficiency in SQL and relational data design
• Sound intuition and technical judgement for making efficient and effective decisions to consistently deliver trusted software solutions
• Proficient in troubleshooting complex technical problems
• Self-directed problem solver with strong initiative and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization as needed
• Reliable transportation to the workplace

• Bellevue WA (hybrid)
• We will consider candidates who are willing to relocate; relocation assistance is not available for this role

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Salary Range

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $107000 - $139000 (flexibility based on experience) plus benefits as described addition the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidates qualifications internal employee equity considerations and location. We will not ask for information about a candidates current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.

Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life accidental death and dismemberment critical illness and accident addition team members can enroll in the companys 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally you get 5 days of paid sick leave 13 paid holidays and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents 12 weeks for others. Also theres an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for qualifying expenses.
