Software Engineer Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte NC or Irving TX. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

In this role you will consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. As a hands-on individual contributor you will review and analyze software engineering challenges contribute to their resolution and collaborate with internal teams while leveraging a solid understanding of function policies procedures and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues
• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering

Requirements:

• 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience training military experience education
• 4-6 years of experience with Splunk
• 4-6 years of experience with AppDynamics Application Performance Monitoring
• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills

Desired skills:

• Any scripting experience (e.g. Python)
• AI exposure
• Understanding of Automation principles and tools (Ansible Selenium etc.)
• Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau PowerBI)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel PowerPoint SharePoint Word)
• Experience with Mainframe technology
• Experience with SNOW or Prometheus
• Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
• Ability to prioritize work meet deadlines achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

Pay range: $43.59 - $51.59 per hour
