We are seeking talented Software Engineers ranging from junior to senior levels to support advanced Air & Missile Defense programs in Huntsville Alabama. This opportunity allows engineers to contribute to real-time mission-critical software systems that support current and next-generation defense platforms.

Youll work within an Agile development environment alongside highly skilled engineers researchers and government stakeholders to create innovative software solutions that protect our nations warfighters.

As a Software Engineer youll participate in the full software development lifecycle including design development testing deployment and sustainment.

• Design develop test and maintain software applications and systems
• Develop high-performance software supporting air and missile defense capabilities
• Build and optimize applications running in Linux environments
• Create and maintain containerized solutions using Docker and Podman
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning backlog refinement and code reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Collaborate with engineers users customers and leadership to define technical solutions
• Develop software for distributed and networked systems
• Generate technical documentation briefings and engineering reports
• Support deployment and sustainment of operational systems

• Bachelors degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Software Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Systems Engineering
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Or related STEM discipline

AND

• Minimum 2 years of software development experience (Masters degree may substitute for experience)
• Strong programming background in:
  • C

  • Or other object-oriented languages
• Experience developing software within Linux environments
• Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance

Salary Range: $80000 - $180000

Compensation is commensurate with education technical expertise clearance status and overall experience.
