As a Software Engineer Expert within PNCs C&IB Payments organization you will be based in Pittsburgh PA or Dallas TX.

Role Overview:
The Software Engineer Expert will lead a team within the C&IB Payments Technology organization overseeing the design development and delivery of Java-based applications supporting enterprise payment platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team of software engineers including performance management and career development
Lead Agile delivery processes and ensure alignment with organizational standards
Oversee full software development lifecycle execution
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives
Ensure adherence to architecture standards security practices and compliance requirements
Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery outcomes

Required Qualifications:
Extensive experience leading software engineering teams
Strong technical background in Java development and distributed systems
Experience with Agile methodologies
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Additional Information:
This position is primarily location-based and requires regular in-office presence.

• Uses technical knowledge and industry experience to design build and maintain technology solutions for a major business segment.
