Foundational programming knowledge in one or more modern languages such as Java Swift Go Rust or C#nUnderstanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures algorithms design patterns)nFamiliarity with database concepts (Relational NoSQL)nAn interest in security and awareness of common security principles

Exposure to DevOps concepts cloud architectures or containerisation (Kubernetes Docker) - through coursework personal projects or internshipsnAwareness of observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk Grafana)nHands-on experience with using AI for development and/or building AI-based toolnEagerness to build relationships with colleagues across different functionsnClear written and verbal communication skills with a willingness to ask questions and share ideasnBachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
