Job Summary

This team is seeking a Software Engineer responsible for developing ground and flight software for missions to the Moon and beyond.Advanced Space exists to enable the sustainable exploration development and settlement of space through software and services that leverage unique subject matter expertise.

This position is open to U.S. Persons only (U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents) as required by applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Able to write and debug basic C and Python code.
- Learning to write code that is modular and testable.
- Limited familiarity with industry tools and best practices.
- Familiar with concepts of unit and regression testing.
- Understands the importance of communicating when estimates are at risk.
- Strong willingness to learn industry-specific tools libraries and operating systems.
- Able to run unit and regression tests on new or modified code.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- B.S. in Aerospace Engineering Software Engineering Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent professional work experience required.
Eligibility requirements:
- Ability to work in the Westminster CO office 3-5 days/week
- Applicants must be a US Person (citizen or Green Card Holder/permanent resident or protected individual)
- Highly desired to be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government

Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary Range - $80000 - $105000 based on role employee experience and location
