We are looking for a Software Device Driver Engineer with experience in Operating Systems drivers IO performance/characterization and strong programming this role you develop system level USB architecture solutions adding functionality and improving performance across many product lines.

Prototype bring-up develop and maintain device drivers for USB on Apple OSsnDrive company-wide USB initiativesnArchitect new driver stacks and frameworksnSupport cross functional teams and platform developersnMake enhancements to the Darwin kernel and other related software stacks as necessaryn

Strong C/C programming skills and experience with multi-threaded programmingnOutstanding written and verbal communicationnProficient in Operating Systems and kernel architecturenBachelors degree in CS/CE/EE (or equivalent or related field)

3 years of relevant experiencenFamiliarity with iOS/macOS toolchainnExperience with IOKit and iOS/macOS driver developmentnExperience with common hardware architectures (ARM PPC MIPS x86)nAbility to use an oscilloscope and logic analyzer and to read board schematicsnA fundamental knowledge of low-level and system level USB architecture and implementations
