MGC is one of Apples Software Engineering divisions and provides the media graphics and compute foundation across Apples innovative products including iPhone iPad Apple Watch Apple TV Mac HomePod and CarPlay. nnWe are looking for an Automation u0026 Tools Engineer who will expand our automation and tooling infrastructure supporting the latest Apple hardware and software. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and have a large impact across multiple Apple platforms and products.n
In this role you will maintain and extend existing automation and tooling infrastructure as well as propose and deliver brand-new initiatives. Youll work with a small hardworking and motivated team that operates like a startup within Apple. The ideal candidate will be innovative organized a self-starter with excellent social skills and have a keen attention to detail.
Developing test tools and methodologies to augment and enhance test frameworks and libraries to support functional performance and reliability testingnTroubleshooting automation and tooling infrastructure issues in production testingnWorking closely with Apple development and test engineers to reliably produce test results
2 years experience with automated testing and software development with excellent written and verbal communication skillsnProficiency in Python Swift shell scripting or equivalent programming skillsnExperience developing and understanding test frameworks and librariesnProficiency in writing automated testing scripts
Familiarity with GenAI assisted developmentnExperience with tools like Ansible Splunk Grafana and Wireshark
