Software Developer Sr. Java Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong foundation in Java 11 to join our dynamic team at DigitalOnUs. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in software development demonstrating a passion for coding and problem solving. You will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high quality software solutions that meet our clients needs.

• Develop test and maintain software applications using Java 11.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.

• Strong proficiency in Java 11.
• Experience with object oriented programming and design patterns.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of version control systems preferably Git.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Experience with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Understanding of database management systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of front end technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) is advantageous.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
