About the Role:
Client is seeking an experienced Software Configuration Management (SCM) Specialist to join its Code Management team. This role will be responsible for driving CI/CD modernization GitLab administration infrastructure automation and software delivery optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in advancing Oncors DevOps ecosystem while supporting enterprise migration efforts involving GitLab Terraform Enterprise and Ansible Automation Platform.

This position requires a strong blend of SCM expertise automation experience cloud knowledge and platform engineering capabilities to support scalable secure and highly available software delivery pipelines.

Required Skills:

• 5 years of Software Configuration Management (SCM) experience
• Strong GitLab Administration experience
• Experience managing GitLab Runners Groups Projects and Permissions at scale
• Terraform Enterprise experience
• Ansible Automation Platform experience
• Kubernetes and/or OpenShift experience
• AWS Azure or IBM Cloud experience
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies
• Experience with GitFlow GitLab Flow and branching strategies
• CI/CD pipeline design implementation and optimization experience
• Automation and scripting experience
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Others:

• JFrog Administration experience is a plus
• Build Management and Release Engineering experience
• Configuration Management experience
• Agile Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) experience
• Software Quality Engineering or Testing background
• Strong scripting or programming skills
