Job Summary
LMSW PRN Danbury Hospital Northwell Health
Summary:
Provides clinical services to emotionally ill individuals collaborating with psychiatric and other health professionals for the purpose of quality treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates and assists full time Licensed Clinical Social Worker in running and documenting groups for Intensive Outpatient level of care.
- Provides coverage for full time Licensed Clinical Social Worker during vacation or illness.
- Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirement:
- Master of social work and a year of experience as an LMSW
- State Licensure of MSW
Working Conditions:
Manual: Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Little or no potential for occupational risk
Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Generally pleasant working conditions
