Social Worker (Licensed)

Purpose:As a Therapist at The Jewish Board youll provide comprehensive mental health and social services to your clients and their families with compassion and expertise. Youll assess client needs develop treatment plans provide counseling and connect clients with community resources. You will also collaborate with healthcare professionals throughout the agency and with external partners to ensure holistic care for the youll help deliver on The Jewish Boards mandate to provide clinically sophisticated outpatient care to our clients using cutting-edge evidence-based integrated treatment models all while benefitting from robust clinical and administrative Responsibilities:Delivering outstanding care to your clientsConduct assessments to determine clients social emotional and financial needs including current functioning and barriers to engagement and identify appropriate interventions to manage risk and render mental health and substance abuse diagnoses. These assessments may incorporate external sources of information including client reports and family/caregiver and implement individualized person-centered treatment plans using evidence-based models when individual group and family in-person and telehealth crisis intervention and support depending on client with other mental health and social service agencies and non-agency providers including shelters schools and the justice system to coordinate client clients to community resources and support for clients needs within the healthcare client care through operational excellenceParticipate in clinical meetings staff meetings trainings and with the scheduling team to ensure timely initial and follow-up client minimum caseload per agency guidelines while achieving productivity annual training in evidence-based interventions and effectively incorporate the evidence-based techniques learned into client accurate and up-to-date client records and other documentation according to the standards and time frames established by The Jewish Board regulatory agencies and/or funding the professional behaviors and ethical standards established by the licensing board relevant professional association and The Jewish Boards policies and other duties as :Applicants must have at least one of the following: Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT).A limited permit will be considered but the applicant must pass the appropriate licensing exam within 6 months of the start understanding of social work principles and in treating both mental health and substance abuse communication and interpersonal to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary in electronic health records (EHR) of community resources and Qualifications:Experience in OMH/OASAS outpatient clinic is preferredPreferred schedule:5 days per week in person (7-hour day 3 evenings required or two evenings / 1 weekend day)4 days per week in person (8.75 Hour Day 3 evenings required or two evenings/ 1 weekend day)Locations:1765 South Avenue Staten Island NY 10314
