We currently have an opening for a Social Worker position and are looking for someone with experience in working with individuals who have emotional and/or behavioral disorders including addictive disorders.

- Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus:
A masters degree in social work followed by three years of social services experience.- Job Specification

- Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
As a Social Worker you will:
- Provide direct client care.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists medical psychologists nurses pharmacists and support staff regarding therapeutic interventions diagnosis and provisions of evidence based treatments via individual group and family therapy modalities.
- Document therapy notes within established timelines into an EHR (Electronic Health Record) System.
- Provide screenings triage and referral services for clients seeking treatment and will provide emergency evaluations when clinically needed.
- Possess and maintain the necessary licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.

Appointment Type: Probational or Promotional
Work Schedule: Monday Friday; 8 hours per day
Location: This position is located in the Acadiana Area Human Services District Crowley Behavioral Health Clinic
This AAHSD SITE is NHSC (National Health Service Corps) APPROVED. QUALIFYING SOCIAL WORKERS MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM.
