Adair County High School is seeking a qualified High School Social Studies Teacher to provide engaging standards-based instruction and support student course to be taught will be Intro to Social Studies (Civics Government Economics).
Responsibilities:
- Teach social studies aligned to Kentucky Academic Standards
- Plan and deliver effective engaging lessons
- Manage classroom and support positive student behavior
- Use data to assess student progress and guide instruction
- Communicate effectively with students families and staff
- Collaborate with team members and participate in professional development
- Foster critical thinking discussion and real-world connections through social studies instruction
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
