Job Focus Area
This role primarily focuses on determining and maintaining eligibility for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). This involves assessing eligibility case management family support/communication and collaborative teamwork.

- Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in social services; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR
A bachelors degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.- Job Specification

Job Duties:
As a Social Service Analyst you will:
- Gather and analyze information to determine if families are eligible for CCAP both initially and on an ongoing basis.
- Understanding and consistent application of complex federal state and agency policies
- Accurately and efficiently processing all case activities by required deadlines
Position-Specific Details:Appointment Type:Probational or person hired for this position is expected to regularly report to the Baton Rouge permanent classified state employees may be required to accept a probationary appointment if selected.
Career Progression:This position may be filled as a Social Services Analyst 1.
Work Schedule:Workdays are Monday - Friday; work hours will be determined.
Compensation:The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
