Job Summary

• Design and implement scalable secure and high-performance Snowflake architectures.
• Develop enterprise data warehouse and data lake solutions on Snowflake.
• Lead migration from legacy databases/data warehouses to Snowflake.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt Airflow Matillion or Informatica.
• Implement Snowflake features such as Snowpipe Streams Tasks Time Travel and Secure Data Sharing.
• Optimize query performance warehouse sizing clustering and cost management.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
• Define security frameworks including RBAC masking policies encryption and governance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders data engineers analysts and DevOps teams.
• Provide technical leadership architectural guidance and best practices.
• Support CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Mentor junior developers and conduct architecture/design reviews.

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and administration.
• Expertise in SQL data modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with Python PySpark or Snowpark.
• Knowledge of data governance security and compliance.
• Familiarity with dbt Airflow Fivetran Matillion or similar tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
• SnowPro Certifications preferred.
• Experience in Data Lakehouse architecture.
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration with Snowflake is an added advantage.

• 8 years in Data Engineering/Data Warehousing.
• 4 years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
