Responsibilities
- Administer configure and optimize the Snowflake platform to ensure peak performance and cost-efficiency
- Implement and manage RBAC SSO integrations (Okta SailPoint) and enterprise data governance
- Enable Snowflake Cortex AI features including AI functions governance and monitoring
- Design and manage roles privileges and user provisioning aligned with IAM standards
- Build and support robust data pipelines and transformations using DBT
- Integrate workflow automation via Openflow or similar orchestration tools
- Monitor warehouse performance optimize query execution and manage costs
- Implement advanced security controls such as encryption masking and audit monitoring
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning monitoring and maintenance
- Collaborate closely with data engineers analysts and AI teams to support evolving data initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
- 8 years administering the Snowflake platform in a DBA/Admin capacity
- Strong expertise in RBAC data access governance and SSO integrations
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake AI (Cortex) enablement and monitoring
- Proven skills in user provisioning and enterprise IAM alignment
- Advanced proficiency with DBT for data pipelines and transformations
- Integration experience with Openflow or similar orchestration tools
- Track record of optimizing performance cost and security within Snowflake environments
- Automation scripting for platform provisioning and maintenance
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional data and AI teams
Preferred Skills
- 4 years with DevOps or CI/CD pipelines for data platforms
- Experience integrating Openflow or workflow orchestration tools
- Familiarity with public sector or healthcare compliance
