Job Title

About your role:

As the SMS Business Operations Lead you will lead operational planning execution and continuous improvement activities that support SMS business performance. You will work across cross-functional teams including product finance sales client support and senior leadership to translate business priorities into measurable operational outcomes. This role matters because it helps improve execution discipline decision-making and scalability across the organization.

What youll do:

• Lead business operations programs that support planning performance management process execution and operational readiness for the SMS organization.

• Partner with leaders across product finance sales and support to define priorities track key performance indicators and drive operational follow-through.

• Analyze operational financial and performance data to identify trends risks and opportunities and recommend actions based on measurable business impact.

• Develop and standardize reporting dashboards business reviews and operating rhythms that improve visibility accountability and decision-making.

• Manage and develop team members by setting clear goals providing regular coaching and supporting ongoing performance and career growth.

• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve processes reduce operational friction and strengthen execution across teams and stakeholders.

• Manage resource planning issue escalation and operational governance processes to support business objectives and timely delivery.

Experience youll need to have:

• 10 years of experience in business operations program management strategy operations or related business functions supporting operational execution and performance management.

• 8 years of experience managing and developing teams in a business operations program management or cross-functional delivery environment.

• 10 years of experience analyzing business performance building reporting and driving operational decisions using data metrics and structured business reviews.

• Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives using reporting tools spreadsheet modeling presentation tools and workflow management methods.

• Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration Finance Operations or related field or equivalent combination of education related experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience supporting SMS payments financial technology or related regulated business environments.

• Experience with dashboard and reporting platforms used for operational performance tracking.

• Experience in annual planning resource forecasting or operational budgeting processes.

• Experience working with executive leadership on business reviews and operational prioritization.

How youll work:

• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

Travel:This role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).
