Job Description Summary
The Smart & Final High School Outreach Musician serves as a student ambassador for the Conservatory of Music by participating in outreach performances clinics and recruitment activities at local high schools. This position provides students with opportunities to share their musical talents engage with prospective students and support music education initiatives within the community.
Responsibilities
Serve as a section leader for Smart & Final outreach performances and events at local high schools. Participate in music clinics workshops performances and recruitment activities. Represent the Conservatory of Music in a professional and positive manner. Engage with prospective students and provide information about the Conservatory of Music and Chapman University. Assist with special projects and outreach initiatives as assigned. Attend rehearsals meetings and outreach events as required. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Current Music major Music minor or member of the Chapman Orchestra ( TCO ) or Wind Symphony. Strong musicianship and ensemble performance skills. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty staff and fellow student musicians. Reliable professional and punctual.
