Small World Extended Day Educators (Part Time)

Avenues: The World School New York is seeking caring dependable educators to join our Small World Extended Day Program to work with our two-year-old students. This is an excellent opportunity for educators graduate students in early childhood education or experienced preschool teachers seeking part-time afternoon work.

The Opportunity

We are hiring educators to provide a warm engaging after-school experience for our youngest learners in a collaborative play-based environment.

Positions Available

• Teacher Group Leader $105 per day ($42 hourly rate based on 2.5 hour shift)
• Teacher $90 per day ($36 hourly rate based on 2.5 hours shifts)

Schedule

• MondayFriday 3:005:30 p.m.
• Candidates may work 25 afternoons per week following consistent schedule
• Positions are available by semester or for the full academic year.

Qualifications :

What Youll Bring

• Experience working with young children in a school or licensed early childhood setting is required.
• Candidates must meet New York City Department of Health (DOH) requirements to work in a licensed early childhood program.
• Required DOH training and certifications can be completed remotely prior to the start of employment.
