WHAT OUR SLIDE ATTENDANTS DO

Our Slide Attendants are the guardians of fun and safety at our water attractions.Youllmonitorloading and unloading areas enforce safety rules and ensure every guest enjoys a secure and exciting experience.

A SLIDE ATTENDANTS DAY-TO-DAY

• Monitor attraction loading and unloading areas and prevent injuries by proactively communicating with Guests andeliminatinghazards.
• Enforce all safety and departmental rules whilemaintaininga polite and professional demeanor.
• Educate Guests on safety protocols and ensure all posted warning signs are adhered to.
• Conduct safe and effective rescuesin accordance withtraining and lifeguard certification protocols.
• Maintain test-ready skills to respond to emergencies at all times.
• Participate in all required in-service training tomaintainslide attendant certification.
• Be knowledgeable in completing live audits correctly.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Lifeguard Supervisorimmediately.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order before use.
• Keep hip packs filled and prepared for emergency situations.
• Utilize and understand whistle signals for effective communication with team members.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members tomaintaina safe and enjoyable Guest experience.
• Remain alert andengagedthroughout shifts to ensurea high levelof safety awareness.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support park operations.

WHAT IT TAKES

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must pass Ellis and Associates Dispatch training (provided by thecompany).
• Must pass CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability tomaintainfocus and vigilance in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma equivalent or currently enrolled in high school.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Typical entertainment and waterpark environment whereyoullwalk bend and stand for extended periods and may lift objects with someassistance.Youllwork outdoors in various weather conditions and remain highly alert throughout your shift.

The pay rate for this position is $16.90 / hr.
