TheSeniorProjectManagerisresponsiblefortheoveralldirectioncompletionandfinancialoutcomeofaconstructionproject.
Responsibilities(includingbutnotlimitedto):
- Overallresponsibilityforsafetyqualityandbudgetforprojectsranginginsize.
- DirectreportsincludeProjectEngineerOfficeManagerQCandSafety.
- Preparesprojectstatusreportsandworkstoensureworkadherestocontractspecifications.
- CommunicatedistrictandcorporateinformationtotheprojectteamaswellaskeepingOM/GMupdated.
- Directsandsupervisesworkofprojectadministrationprojectsuperintendentsandengineerstoestablishoperationprioritiesandmaintainsatisfactoryrelationships.
- Establish/Define/PromotevaluesexpectationsandperformancestandardsforteamandindividualmembersinaccordancewithJDCsmissionvisionandvalues.
- Createandexecuteprojectworkplansthatidentifyresourceandbudgetaryneeds.
- Responsiblefortheoverallmanagementoftheprojecttoensurecompletesolutionisdeliveredontimeandwithinbudget.
- Coordinatewithvendorsandsuppliersasneeded.
- AssisttheOperationsManagerandProjectneeds.
- Managecostsandprogramdocumentation.
- Effectivelyoverseesubcontractmanagement.
- Coachanddevelopstaffprovidingfeedbackadviceprojectupdatesandencouragement.
- Hostprojectmeetingsatleastonceaweekwithteamandmanagers.
- ImplementandmonitorSafetyandHazardcommunicationprograms.
- MonitorQualityControlandworkincollaborationwithSiteSuperintendent.
- CarryoutjobdutieswhilemaintainingJDCvalues.
- Andotherdutiesasassigned.
JobRequirements
- Bachelorsdegreeincivilengineeringorconstructionmanagement.
- MUSThaveHeavy/Highwayexperienceprojectmanagementexperience.
- Minimum5-8yearsofprojectexperienceinheavy/highwayconstruction.
- Familiarwithgradingdrainagepaving(asphaltandconcrete)bridgeconstructionretainingwallsandallotherhighwayconstructionscopes.
- Creativityandinnovationareamust.
- Musthaveexcellentteambuildingskills.
- StrongworkingknowledgeofExcelandWord.
- Strongprioritizationandorganizationalskills;detailoriented.
