About the role: Location: 720 Keller St. Los Angeles CA 90012

We are looking for a Site Supervisor on behalf of our client. You will monitor and coordinate field or workshop operations primarily focusing on railway vehicle refurbishment and infrastructure. You ensure contractors follow exact specifications maintain quality control and keep projects on schedule. Duration is depending on business needs and by your onsite manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Validation: Checking that contractors build or repair parts exactly according to engineering drawings and technical standards.
• Quality Control: Inspecting the final work taking photos and writing daily progress reports.
• Schedule Tracking: Making sure the work gets done on time and flagging any delays with the management team.
• Document Control: Ensuring workers always have the most up-to-date blueprints and manuals.
• Inspections: Performing First Article Inspections (FAI)the official process of checking the very first batch of parts from a supplier to make sure they meet all quality rules.

Qualifications:

• Education: A diploma (such as a DEP) or degree in a technical field like mechanical engineering civil engineering or construction.
• Experience: 2 or more years of experience in work supervision.
• Skills: The ability to read complex blueprints use digital management tools and communicate clearly.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position which is dependent upon experience qualifications and skills is estimated to be $43.00/hr. to $48.00/hr.
