About this role
Carrier is seeking a Site Reliability / Platform Engineer to support and evolve the Carrier BAS Cloud SaaS platform ensuring high availability security scalability and compliance. This role blends deep hands-on cloud engineering SRE principles and DevOps automation with a strong emphasis on SOC2-aligned operational rigor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design operate and continuously improve highly available cloud platforms
- Apply SRE principles including SLOs error budgets and incident response
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and GitOps deployments
- Implement secure identity and access patterns (IAM IRSA OIDC)
- Support SOC2 compliance audits and evidence collection
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years in SRE DevOps or Platform Engineering roles and Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineer Mathematics or Information Systems
Or
- 4 years in SRE DevOps or Platform Engineering roles and High School Diploma/ GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- CI/CD GitOps AWS SSM Terraform Python Bash
- AWS production experience
- SOC2 or regulated SaaS experience
- Strong collaboration and mentoring skills
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $64500.00 - $129500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include but are not limited to skills education experience and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.Other Compensation
Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives subject to plan requirements.Benefits
