Job Summary
Western Sand & Gravel is looking for a Site Foreman who serves as the supervisor at the WS&G designated site to engage in related work as required.Western Sand & Gravel is currently offering a $2500.00 Hiring Bonus!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies while performing duties safely. Assists in accident investigation.

Serves as the supervisor in the field to exercise technical and functional supervision over the operators at the assigned site.

Monitors crew performance and behaviors in the field and reports work progress challenges incidents and accidents and employee conduct and performance to the appropriate supervisor.

Communicates supervisor expectations to work crew regarding work practices and procedures safety and compliance with the companys policies.

Sets an example to crew members in following Company policies and safety regulations and in maintaining a positive working relationship with co-workers supervisors and company leadership.

Evaluates work procedures and processes and ensures that safe work practices are being followed by crew members under his/her lead.

Follows all safety policies and procedures and holds safety meetings with crew members.

Recommends improvements and repairs to be made to equipment.

Evaluates work requirements and determines work schedule.

Ensuressafeandefficientoperationoftheplantthroughmaintenanceinspectionandrepairofthe equipmentandoperatingconditionsof theplant.

Assistsinperformingpreventativemaintenance and repairs onequipment.

Operatesequipmentbasedonproductionschedulestoassureappropriatesequenceof operations.

Keepssitefacilitiescleanandsafeforefficientoperation.

Inspects equipment before and during use.

Trains employees on proper operation of equipment.

Attends and participates in required trainings.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job trains directs and oversees the work of others assigned to the site.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
• three years of work-related experience; or
• an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates Licenses Registrations:

• Valid NE drivers license and be insurable under the companys insurance program.

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Mustpossess mechanical aptitude.

• Ableto read operating and maintenance manuals and drawings.
• Able to effectively communicate with others and give oral and written instructions.
• Required to clearly write reports with correct use of language.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
