Showa Performance Specialist

Job Description:

Position Summary

The Marketing Planner will support the planning coordination and execution of marketing activities for SHOWA Performance within the North American automotive performance off road aftermarket.

This position will provide hands-on support across marketing planning campaigns events and activations CRM and customer communications social media digital marketing content development and product launches. Working closely with the SHOWA Performance Marketing Branding and Product team the Marketing Planner will help coordinate projects maintain marketing schedules and assets work with internal teams and external resources and ensure marketing activities are executed effectively and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Planning and Execution

Assist with the development and execution of SHOWA Performance annual and quarterly marketing plans campaigns product launches and brand initiatives.

Help maintain marketing calendars project schedules deliverables budgets and key milestones.

Coordinate marketing activities and information across product sales engineering communications and other internal teams.

Assist with campaign tracking reporting and measurement of marketing performance.

Conduct market competitor and industry research to support marketing and product initiatives.

Help identify opportunities to increase brand awareness customer engagement and overall marketing effectiveness.

Events and Brand Activation

Assist with the planning and execution of SHOWA Performance participation at trade shows enthusiast events races customer experiences dealer events and other industry activations.

Help coordinate event logistics including vehicles displays signage product samples collateral apparel promotional materials staffing and vendors.

Assist with sponsorship partnership racing and vehicle related marketing activations.

Support pre event preparation onsite execution and post event follow up.

Attend selected industry events and activations as needed.

Help track event schedules deliverables budgets and outstanding action items.

CRM Email and Customer Communications

Assist with the development and execution of SHOWA Performance CRM and email marketing activities.

Help develop and distribute customer communications supporting product launches events promotions technical information and brand initiatives.

Maintain customer and lead information and assist with audience segmentation for consumers dealers partners and other customer groups.

Help coordinate email campaigns automated communications lead follow up and customer communication schedules.

Monitor engagement list growth conversion and other key CRM and email performance metrics.

Assist with identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement and communication effectiveness.

Social Media and Digital Marketing

Assist with day to day coordination of SHOWA Performance social media activities in collaboration with external agency partners.

Help develop and maintain social media and digital content calendars aligned with product event racing partnership and brand priorities.

Coordinate content assets approvals and publishing schedules with internal teams and agency partners.

Monitor social channels audience engagement customer feedback industry conversations and emerging trends.

Assist with community engagement and help route customer questions or technical inquiries to appropriate internal resources.

Support paid social digital advertising influencer ambassador and creator activities as needed.

Help ensure digital and social media activity maintains a consistent SHOWA Performance brand voice and visual identity.

Content and Marketing Asset Support

Assist with the coordination and development of photography video graphics product content sales materials technical content and other marketing assets.

Maintain organized libraries of approved brand assets photography video logos product information and marketing collateral.

Help ensure marketing materials and external communications follow SHOWA brand standards and maintain a consistent premium performance identity.

Assist with updates to website digital dealer event and sales related marketing content.

Work with product and technical teams to help communicate product features technologies and performance benefits in clear customer focused language.

Agency Vendor and Partner Support

Assist with day to day coordination of marketing agencies production partners event vendors and other external resources.

Help coordinate schedules project information assets deliverables and approval processes.

Assist with marketing activities involving industry partners sponsorship properties race teams vehicle partners and other collaborators.

Help track agency and vendor project timing deliverables budgets and outstanding action items.

Support coordination between external resources and internal SHOWA Performance and Astemo stakeholders.

Product and Channel Marketing Support

Assist with marketing activities supporting new SHOWA Performance product launches and go to market initiatives.

Help coordinate product messaging photography digital content sales materials dealer communications and launch assets.

Maintain and organize product information and related marketing materials.

Assist with development of dealer distributor and sales support materials.

Help coordinate product information and marketing assets across SHOWA Performance customer touchpoints.

Monitor competitor activity market trends enthusiast conversations and industry developments to support marketing and product planning.

Qualifications

2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in marketing digital marketing events social media communications or a related field.

Hands on experience supporting marketing campaigns events social media digital content customer communications or similar marketing activities.

Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects priorities and deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively with internal teams agencies vendors and external partners.

Familiarity with social media platforms email marketing CRM systems digital marketing and basic marketing analytics.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work independently while collaborating within a fast moving cross functional team environment.

Ability and willingness to travel to trade shows races enthusiast events product activities and other SHOWA Performance activations.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.

Experience within the automotive aftermarket automotive performance off road powersports motorsport outdoor or enthusiast industries.

Knowledge of or strong personal interest in automotive performance trucks SUVs off road vehicles racing and enthusiast culture.

Experience supporting product launches and go to market activities.

Experience working with creative digital social media PR or experiential marketing agencies.

Familiarity with CRM and email marketing platforms social media management tools analytics platforms and content management systems.

Experience working in a growing brand environment where responsibilities span multiple areas of marketing.
