Shopify Developer Remote

Role Type: Contractor (510 hrs/week)
Location: Remote

Were seeking experienced Shopify Specialists to provide subject-matter expertise for a customer project focused on e-commerce workflows and analytics. Youll apply your Shopify knowledge to help evaluate and improve AI-generated tasks and real-world e-commerce scenarios. No prior AI experience is required.

• Review Shopify and e-commerce task structures for accuracy and alignment with real platform workflows.
• Evaluate analytical scenarios and provide clear actionable feedback.
• Advise on Shopify data objects including orders products customers and reporting.
• Identify gaps edge cases and unrealistic assumptions using hands-on experience.
• Recommend improvements to terminology metrics and task structures.
• Validate Shopify and e-commerce analytics definitions and terminology.
• Suggest additional scenarios and refinements from an operator and analyst perspective.

• 5 years of hands-on Shopify experience in operations development analytics or consulting.
• Strong understanding of Shopifys data model and reporting capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of e-commerce analytics including conversion retention cohorts and revenue metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience advising on Shopify analytics and best practices.
• Experience working with multiple Shopify stores agencies or consulting projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus advanced reporting SQL or BI tools such as Looker is advantageous.
