Puri-T Welding & Fabrication is a growing structural steel welding shop looking for an experienced Shop Welder/Fabricator to join our team. If you have experience fitting fabricating and welding structural steel and take pride in producing quality work we want to hear from you.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret structural steel shop drawings
- Structural steel fabrication and welding experience preferred
- Proficient in GMAW-S and FCAW-G
- Experience fitting laying out and assembling structural steel components
- Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment including saws ironworkers drills grinders and overhead cranes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Reliable self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings to fabricate structural steel components
- Fit tack and weld structural steel and miscellaneous metal products
- Verify dimensions and maintain quality throughout the fabrication process
- Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work with shop supervisors and team members to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
