Shop Operations Leader 2nd Shift

The Second Shift Operations Leader is responsible for the daily execution of manufacturing operations within Combustion and 3DP departments. This role ensures the reliability consistency and efficiency of production lines by leveraging lean manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement. The successful candidate will lead the hourly workforce during second shift ensuring that all departmental KPIs are met through proactive manpower planning production gap management and disciplined execution of standard operating procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage an operation business unit or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality cost delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees. This does not include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own -depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $76300.00 and $114400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
