TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Shop Manager in the Baltimore MD area!

Full-Time Opportunity!

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In-Person

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage daily shop operations production schedules and workflow priorities

- Lead and support machinists fabricators technicians and production employees

- Plan and coordinate manufacturing actives to meet customer deadlines

- Review job requirements drawings and production specifications

- Support CNC machining operations including setup programming troubleshooting and process improvements

- Oversee fabrication assembly tooling and prototype production activities

- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications

- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and identify solutions

- Work closely with engineering and design teams on new products and production improvements

- Train employees and promote continuous improvements practices.

-Assist with equipment maintenance and process optimization

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing machining or production environment

- Previous experience as a Shop Manager Manufacturing Supervisor Production Manager or Shop Lead

- Strong CNC machining knowledge and experience

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

- Experience managing production teams in a hands-on environment

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

- Experience working with precision manufacturing processes

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production deadlines

PAY RATE

$65000 - $85000(based on experience)
