Shop Helper

Lloyd Richards Personnel is currently seeking dependable hardworking individuals for a Shop Helper / General Laborer position with one of our valued manufacturing partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team learning new skills and contributing to the success of daily shop operations.

• Assist with daily shop operations to ensure an organized efficient and productive work environment.
• Load and unload materials parts and finished products using carts forklifts or manual labor.
• Support the team by preparing materials and staging work areas.
• Move and organize in-process materials throughout the facility.
• Perform basic assembly labeling packaging and shipping preparation tasks.
• Help maintain a clean and safe workplace through sweeping organizing tools and removing scrap materials.
• Receive identify and properly store incoming materials and inventory.
• Follow supervisor instructions and contribute to a smooth workflow across all departments.
• Adhere to all company safety policies procedures and PPE requirements.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing warehouse or industrial experience is a plus but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing walking bending and working in a shop environment.
• Experience with hand tools forklifts or shop equipment is beneficial.
• Strong attendance reliability and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
