What Youll Do
As a Shop Driver youll be the link between our warehouse job sites and supplier locations. Youll deliver equipment and materials with care contribute to a clean and organized shop and support the daily logistics that keep our projects running without delay.
Safely transport tools equipment and materials between the shop job sites and vendor locations
Maintain delivery schedules and communicate with foremen and field teams
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report service needs
Assist with shop organization staging and inventory support
Keep detailed delivery logs and timesheets
Support emergency or off-schedule deliveries when required
Uphold SMS safety service and operational standards
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
1 years of experience in a delivery or driver role
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Basic knowledge of construction tools materials and job sites
Dependable organized and self-directed with strong communication skills
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Bonus Points For:
DOT medical card or CDL (Class C or higher)
Forklift certification
Experience in a construction warehouse or logistics environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hour (based on experience) Benefits Include:
