Job Summary
A Shipping/Receiving Coordinator manages the flow of inbound and outbound shipments oversees inventory accuracy and ensures smooth coordination between warehouse operations carriers and production teams.
Shipping
- Prepare and package outgoing orders according to company and carrier guidelines.
- Generate shipping labels bills of lading and all required documentation.
- Schedule pickups with carriers and ensure orders depart on time.
- Verify accuracy of shipped items quantities and packaging.
Receiving
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy damage and completeness.
- Verify packing lists and purchase orders against delivered items.
- Properly label document and store incoming materials.

Inventory & Documentation
- Update inventory systems with received and shipped goods.
- Track stock movements and assist with cycle counts or full inventory counts.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of shipments receipts and adjustments.
General Warehouse Support
- Operate forklifts pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment safely (if certified).
- Keep work areas clean safe and compliant with company safety standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff purchasing and production teams to meet workflow needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 years shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software (UPS FedEx LTL freight portals) is a plus.
- Basic computer skills including email and inventory systems.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
